Robert C. Langan, MD, FAAFP, recently was named 2015 Exemplary Teacher of the Year Award by the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians.

Langan is program director of St. Luke's family medicine residency and medical director of St. Luke's Family Medicine Center, both of which are located in Bethlehem.

Langan attended Albany Medical College in Albany, N.Y. and received his residency from the Family Medicine Residency at the Naval Hospital, Pensacola, Fla. He served in active duty for the Navy at the Naval Hospital, Cherry Point, N.C., in active reserves at Bethesda Naval Hospital with Detachment K, and mobilized under Operation Enduring Freedom at the Naval Hospital in Pensacola.
