STUDENT OF THE WEEK

Q: What grade are you in?

A: I am in 12th grade.

Q: What is your favorite subject? Why?

A: My favorite subject is AP Government because I am studying international relations and political science in college. I think the ability for an American to influence policy in our democratic society is an unbelievable privilege.

Q: Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A: I was inducted into National Honor Society, Tri M. Honor Music Society and National Spanish Honor Society my junior year of high school.

Q: Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?

A: I was secretary of my Key Club, a member of Chorale, Select Choir and Accabella, a member of district chorus in 2014 and 2015 and a member of regional chorus in 2015.

Q: What is your next goal after high school?

A: My goal for after high school is to graduate from Lehigh University with a degree in international relations and pursue law school.

Q: What would you say your biggest challenge has been so far?

A: My biggest challenge so far has been balancing my social life, extracurriculars, schoolwork and exercise. I've found time management to be the best method.

Q: What do you want to be remembered for?

A: I want to be remembered for impacting not only my own country, but other countries in a positive manner.

Q: Who is in your family?

A: My mother Amy McConlogue, my brother Cole, my dog Carmen and cats Keela and Keiko.

Q: Do you have someone you look up to?

A: I really look up to my mother. She is the strongest and most beautiful person I know inside and out.

Q: Do you have any advice for your peers?

A: Pursue your dreams and live your life to the fullest because it will all be over in a blink of an eye.
