Fatal accident
An Emmaus man died in a one-vehicle accident early May 11 along Limeport Pike in Lower Milford Township.
Michael A. Fisher, 21, of the 400 block of Minor Street, was pronounced dead 5:24 a.m. at the accident scene at a property in the 3100 block of Limeport Pike.
According to a press release from the Lehigh County Coroner's Office, the cause of death was multiple blunt trauma. The manner of death was ruled an accident.
According to Pennsylvania State Police at Fogelsville, Fisher was riding a 2006 Suzuki GSX-R 600 motorcycle eastbound along Limeport Pike around 3:45 a.m. Fisher, allegedly lost control of the motorcycle, struck a tree and was thrown from the motorcycle. The force of the crash caused the motorcycle to separate into two pieces, according to police.
In addition to Pennsylvania State Police, first repsonders included Lower Milford Township Fire Department personnel, Upper Saucon Ambulance Corps, the Lehigh County Coroner and Detweilers Auto.
