Members of the Mountainville Lions 14-K Allentown and Community Partners 4 Kids host a child identification event May 2 at St. Marks Church, 52 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown. Thanks to a sophisticated computer system, children were fingerprinted, had their photos taken and were recorded answering simple questions. Each parent received a CD and were told the information would be available to law enforcement, the United States military and the Department of Homeland Security should an Amber Alert be needed.

Helping with the Mountainville Lions event are: back row, left to right, Glen Santee, of Allentown; Leah Hawk, of Allentown; Shirley Hawk, of Macungie; Kevin Blose, of Bethlehem; Dave Fatzinger, of Macungie; Joanne Santee, of Allentown and John Hoff, of Allentown; seated, left to right, Stephanie Gerencser, of Bethlehem, Cheryl Fatzinger, of Macungie and Gaylen Moyer, of Allentown.
