The Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) Early Learning Center offers a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) summer camp beginning in June.
Fun activities are combined with academic learning for children ages three through completion of kindergarten. Participants may choose from one to four two-week camps sessions. Sessions are 9 a.m. - noon, with extended care 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.:
Session 1, "At the Beach": June 22 - 26, "Exploring Sea Life"; June 29 - July 2, "Beach Fun"; Session 2, " Build It:" July 6 - 10, "Bridges and Transportation"; July 13 - 17, "Cities and Skyscrapers"; Session 3, "Recycle It": July 20 - 24, "Creative Art"; July 27 - 31, "Music Instruments," and Session 4, "Camping Adventure," Aug. 3 - 7, "Cooking"; Aug. 10 - 14, ""Exploring Outdoors."
