Zephyr Elementary School's open house is scheduled for this evening, May 14, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

There will be a basket raffle in the cafeteria to benefit Relay for Life.

Gockley Elementary School's open house will be held Thursday, May 21, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the school.

There will be a basket raffle to raise funds for new playground equipment.

Schools will be closed for Memorial Day, Monday, May 25.

The 2015 Zephyr boys' basketball camp will be held from June 29 to July 2 for boys entering grades 3 through 9.

The camp will be held at Whitehall High School from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

The camp is designed to teach the fundamentals of basketball, hone team and individual skills and have fun.

Each day will include instruction, games, skill building, lectures and competitions. Boys will be grouped according to age, size and ability.

The camp is run by the high school boys' basketball coaching staff.

Come beat the heat and support the Whitehall girls' basketball team.

The team is sponsoring a fundraising night at Rita's Italian Ice May 20, from 4 to 8 p.m.

The proceeds from the sales will benefit the basketball team.

They are also raffling off a pair of Beats headphones.

The next PTSA Market Day pickup is set for Wednesday, May 20 between the hours of 4 and 5 p.m. in the middle school cafeteria.

The first day of school for 2015-16 will be Monday, Aug. 31.
