EASTERN PA DOWN SYNDROME CENTER, Allentown has several volunteer opportunities available for the seventh annual EPDSC golf tournament 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 16 at Whitetail Golf Club, Bath. Help with setup, registration, course marshals, raffle sales and cleanup is needed. This is a rain or shine event and no training is needed. GIRLS ON THE RUN OF LEHIGH COUNTY, Allentown needs volunteers for its 5-K run May 28 in the Lehigh Parkway. Assist with course setup, parking, refreshments and more. Running buddies (adults 18+) are needed to be paired with a Girl on the Run to help her through the 5-K. Must be able to run/jog 3.1 miles. HISTORIC BETHLEHEM MUSEUMS & SITES - Sign up as a volunteer for special access to the "Rooms to View" Home and Garden Tour 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. June 6. Volunteers interact with visitors who come to tour the homes and are able to enjoy the tour for free on the same day. KIRKLAND VILLAGE, Bethlehem is looking for a volunteer who is knowledgeable in Qui Gong Tai Chi. The volunteer would run a video for the class and help individuals where needed. NEW BETHANY MINISTRIES, Bethlehem seeks a volunteer to serve as receptionist to welcome visitors, clients and residents. Duties include answering phones and transferring calls accordingly, giving information of our services, filing, helping with various projects, assisting individuals and families and treating them with dignity and respect, etc. Volunteer mornings or afternoons, Monday through Friday. THE GRESS MOUNTAIN RANCH, Orefield needs creative needlecrafters to knit, crochet or felt alpaca fleece projects to be sold to raise funds for the Gress Mountain Ranch.
