STUDENT OF THE WEEK
Q: What grade are you in?
A: I am in 12th grade at Emmaus High School.
Q: What is your favorite subject? Why?
A: My favorite subject is economics because it reveals the inner workings of the economy in relation to government regulations. I find this interesting because it coincides with my finance class.
Q: Have you received any special awards or recognition?
A: I have been on the Principal's Honor Roll and Honor Roll since the beginning of high school. I am a member of National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society.
Q: Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?
A: I am an active member of Future Business Leaders of America, the varsity debate team, interact club and E-TV, the high school television station.
Q: What is your next goal after high school?
A: After high school I plan to pursue degrees in finance and marketing at Miami University's Farmer School of Business in Oxford, Ohio.
Q: What would you say your biggest challenge has been so far?
A: My biggest challenge has been to find a career path which motivates me to do my best in every facet of my studies. Now that I have found a career path in business and finance, I want to work harder and stay motivated by what I am learning.
Q: What do you want to be remembered for?
A: I would like to be remembered as a successful, determined, outgoing and kind person. Most of all, I want to be remembered as someone who would always put others before myself.
Q: Who is in your family?
A: My family is my father, David, my mother, Patty, my sister, Rachel and our bird Samson.
Q: Do you have someone you look up to?
A: I look up to my church praise band director Ken Hoover. He inspires me to trust the Lord with everything and to have faith in His will for me.
Q: Do you have any advice for your peers?
A: My advice is to do your very best in everything. Work hard to accomplish your tasks. If you fall down, get back up and try again. Remember no one can take away your dreams or your goals.
