Salisbury High School will host the Integrated Media Production – Arts, Communication, Technology Film Festival 6 p.m. May 15.
The film festival was open to all Lehigh Valley high school students in grades nine through 12. Awards will be distributed to winners in the following categories: best film, best direction, best editing, best cinematography, best screenplay and best special effects. RCN will broadcast select films on a date following the festival.
The mission of the I.M.P.A.C.T. Film Festival is to showcase independent student films, provide educational opportunties for participants across the region, encourage student-driven competition to build knowledge of the process of filmmaking and collaboration and offer the greater community a forum for the appreciation and critique of student art.
There is a charge for admission and tickets can be purchased at the door.
