The Lower Macungie Township Environmental Advisory Council presented Lower Macungie Township's first annual Arbor Day celebration April 24 at the corner of Sauerkraut Lane and Mill Creek Road.
The event included guest speakers and a tree planting. ABOVE: The planting of the Northern Red Oak is attended by members of Boy Scout Troop 131, Wescosville. Every attendee was asked to add a shovel full of dirt to the planting.
