The high school will host "The White Rose" exhibition through May 8.
The exhibit originates from Germany in honor of a student-led, nonviolent Nazi resistance movement in 1942 and 1943.
German students and a professor from Munich wrote six leaflets calling for passive resistance and termination of World War II.
Hans and Sophie Scholl, part of the resistance, distributed the sixth leaflet at the University of Munich and were arrested.
The seven core members of the "White Rose" were executed by the Nazi regime. Other members received long-term prison sentences.
Shortly after they were arrested, the last leaflet was smuggled out of Germany by the allies. It was copied and air-dropped throughout Germany.
Two of the "White Rose" members survived the ordeal: Dr. George Juergen Wittenstein, who currently lives in Santa Barbara, Calif., and Mrs. Traute Lafrenze-Page, who immigrated here in 1947 and now lives in South Carolina.
This exhibition is open to the public.
