Burglary
Reported in the 3300 block of Orchard Road, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors pried open a basement screen window to enter the residence and removed a desktop computer and miscellaneous jewelry between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. April 20. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Theft by deception
Dana Nicole Easterday, 42, of Allentown, was arrested for theft by deception at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:50 p.m. April 20, after she allegedly entered the store with an old receipt, selected items from the store shelves, returned the new items using the old receipt and received $150.28. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.
Alesia Fay Milmine, 55, of Bethlehem, was taken into custody for theft by deception after she allegedly stole $1,800 from a safe in the accounting office at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township between 11:39 and 11:59 p.m. March 19. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.
Identity theft
Reported in the 5700 block of Fresh Meadow Drive, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown actor filed a 2014 income tax return with the Internal Revenue Service using a resident's social security number to claim tax refunds.
Theft from vehicle
Reported in the 1300 block of Dayspring Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors entered an unlocked vehicle and took various items between 9 p.m. April 19 and 3 p.m. April 20.
Criminal mischief
Reported by a resident in the 2900 block of Sheffield Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors damaged a mailbox sometime between Dec. 15, 2014 and March 22. The investigation continues.
