Don't miss it! Heidelberg Church's Women of Faith group will meet 7 p.m. April 27 to complete plans and decorations for the Mothers Day tea party noon May 2.

During the tea, there will be a fashion show featuring articles from way back when.

Those attending may wear an outfit from years gone by or bring one along that has a story to tell.

Perhaps you have a hat from grandma's time or can create one to wear.

Public is invited! There will be a spring craft fair at Ontelaunee Park, Route 143, New Tripoli, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. May 2 to benefit the Lynn Heidelberg Historical Society.

In addition to 45 crafters, there will be DJ entertainment, food and Chinese auction.

A wide selection of handmade crafts including soaps, purses, pottery, birdhouses, wooden pens, jewelry, crochet, plus more will be offered.

Bells will be ringing! In celebration of Heidelberg Union Church's 275th anniversary, there will be a handbell service 11 a.m. May 3.

This service will highlight the church's Concert Handbell Choir.

There will be a bake sale and a hot dog lunch will be served immediately following this special service. No reservations are needed.

The hot dog lunch and bake sale will benefit the church's Faith Formation Sunday School.

New Life Church, 6804 Weiss Road, is having a basket social and flea market 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 30 to benefit the families of Csala Beers and Adam Recke.

Beers was paralyzed in an auto accident earlier this year on the same street where her husband was paralyzed in an accident 12 years ago.

Together, they face mounting medical bills and necessary modifications to their North Whitehall home to accommodate two wheelchairs.

Recke is a 15-year-old Bethlehem student who has Niemann-Pick Disease Type C, also known as childhood Alzheimer's Disease.

Experimental treatments are currently uninsured.

All funds raised will benefit these two families.

Area residents who would like space to sell their wares at the flea market may do so for a small fee.

Food, beverages and baked goods will be available at the event.

Basket drawing begins 2 p.m.
