With 49 vendors and more than 150 raffle prizes donated from business and local groups, organizers of the Wescosville Elementary School's Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and Wescosville Wishes craft and vendor fair and raffle recently are trying to raise more funds.
"Last year we raised over $3,000 and this year we are hoping for more for Autism Speaks. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we do a lot more," Taylor Angel, a special education teacher, said.
Crafters and vendors lined the hallways with their merchandise and the gym was full. There was face painting, hair braiding and fancy manicures. There were multi-shaped balloons, painting pigs, jewelry, household and gift items and all kinds of food.
Autism Spectrum Disorder or autism is a general term for many complex disorders of brain development of varying degrees. Over three million people in the United States and tens of millions of people are affected by autism worldwide.
Autism disorders include difficulty with social interaction, verbal and nonverbal communication and repeated behaviors, but there are many more.

Olivia and Tomas Graf, children of Andres and Anita Graf, sit with the Easter Bunny at the Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and Wishes Craft and Vendor Show at Wescosville Elementary School recently.
