Firefighters from Western Salisbury and Lower Macungie fire departments respond to a reported truck fire on Hamilton Boulevard April 20 in the area of the Charcoal Diner. Western Salisbury Fire Chief Josh Wells was the first on scene and reported a small fire in the engine compartment of the truck. Crews from Lower Macungie Fire Department extinguished the fire, which appeared to be electrical in nature. Traffic along Route 222 northbound was backed up for several miles until crews removed the truck. There were no injuries reported.
