LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

STUDENT OF THE WEEK

Q What grade are you in?

AI am in 12th grade at Emmaus High School.

Q What is your favorite subject? Why?

A History. I have always enjoyed history most because it is an interesting subject and provides an insight into a different time and different groups of people.

Q Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A No.

Q Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?

A I play club volleyball as well as varsity for the EHS team. I play violin in the EHS orchestra and also play piano in my free time.

Q What is your next goal after high school?

A After high school I plan on attending Bloomsburg University. I am not sure what I will major in, but I hope to pursue a career where I can enjoy the work I do on a daily basis.

Q What would you say your biggest challenge has been so far?

A I don't feel I have faced challenges I would consider "major" in my life. I am very blessed. I have a loving and supportive family and friends who can help me remember what is truly important in life.

Q What do you want to be remembered for?

A I hope to be remembered as someone who was friendly and always fun to be around.

QWho is in your family?

A My family consists of my parents, Ken and Sharon, as well as my three brothers, Justin, Brendan and Owen, plus our dog Banjo and rabbit Fudge.

Q Do you have someone you look up to?

A I have always looked up to LaDianian Tomlinson, the former professional football player for the San Diego Chargers. I have always felt his actions on and off the field were very admirable. He is one of the all-time greats, yet throughout his career stayed humble and determined.

Q Do you have any advice for your peers?

AMy advice to my peers would be to stay positive and have a good perspective; life is what you make of it.
