Friends of the Emmaus Library will host its annual book sale in the cafeteria of Lower Macungie Middle School, 6229 Lower Macungie Road, 7 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. The brown bag blow-out is 3 to 3:45 p.m. The Nutrition, Health and Safety Fair, organized by the Nutrition Group will offer free food samples, free blood pressure screenings, health information and demonstrations. The nutrition fair runs 9 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

A free informational session on adoption and child foster care will be held 6 p.m. at Diakon Adoption and Foster Care, located on the campus of The Lutheran Home at Topton, One S. Home Ave., Topton. Diakon Adoption and Foster Care staff will explain foster parenting as well as the processes involved in adopting a child.
