Grundsau Lodsch Nu. 16 celebrates spring with dinner and skit

Grundsau Lodsch Nu. 16 (Groundhog Lodge 16) members met at Jordan Lutheran Church, Orefield, March 6 to celebrate the coming of spring.

This organization, initially started by Pennsylvania German men has been a tradition since the 1930s.

Started in Selinsgrove, grundsau lodges spread throughout Pa. Dutch communities including Lehigh County.
