Theft
Jade Nails, 3300 Lehigh St., reported 4:46 p.m. April 2 a woman received a pedicure and a 15-minute massage and refused to pay for the services for $30. Police have a photograph and video of the woman and are investigating.
A man reports his cellphone was removed from a bathroom 6:20 p.m. April 6 at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest.
A man from Northampton rented a skid loader and chains in December [2014] from Allied Equipment Sales and Retal, 2938 S. Pike Ave. and returned the skid loader but not the chains. The man will be charged with theft.
Scott Chevrolet, 3333 Lehigh St. reported 4:06 p.m. April 8 receiving a bad check from a customer purchasing a car. The district attorney's office is now handling the matter.
Graffiti
An unknown actor spraypainted the word "joker" in the boys bathroom at Green Acres Park. The graffiti was discovered 3:40 p.m. April 3.
Assault
John Bertalan, 18, of Salisbury, was charged with simple assault and harassment following an incident in the 2800 block of Fairfield Drive 10:27 p.m. April 4. The victim was allegedly attacked in the face. Bertalan was taken to Central Booking for processing.
Dog incident
Police were called to the 1400 block of Salisbury Road 12:53 p.m. April 5 for the report of a small white dog running around. When police arrived, the dog was tied to a railing. As the officer attempted to get the dog into the police car, the dog bit the officer. The dog was taken to the SPCA and the officer was treated at the hospital.
K-9 assist
Salisbury police K-9 Fonzie was called to assist South Whitehall police locate a suicidal male 10:04 p.m. April 5 at the Comfort Suites, 3712 Hamilton Blvd. While Fonzie was on the man's track, South Whitehall police captured the man.
Disorderly conduct
Antonio Borges, 18, of Allentown, was given a summary citation for disorderly conduct following an incident in the 1200 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard 5:19 p.m. April 6. Borges allegedly had an altercation with a female victim.
Blake Bryant, 28, of Bethlehem, was given a summary citation for disorderly conduct following an alleged traffic stop at the intersection of West Rock Road and South Pike Avenue 12:08 a.m. April 8.
Matthew Fabian, 22, of Allentown, was given a summary citation for disorderly conduct following an alleged traffic stop in the 3100 block of Lehigh Street, 4:18 p.m. April 8.
Theft from vehicle
Police were contacted by a parent saying $30 cash was taken from a car parked at Salibury High School, 500 E. Montgomery St., 2:30 p.m. April 7 sometime during track practice. The car was unlocked. Police are reviewing video.
A resident in the 400 block of East Emmaus Avenue reported 3 p.m April 7 the theft of a license plate from a boat trailer.
Drug
Blake Bryant, 28, of Bethlehem, received a non-traffic disorderly conduct citation 3:20 a.m. April 7. Police allegedly found drugs in Bryant's car following a traffic stop in the 400 block of East Rock Road.
Fraud
A resident in the 1000 block of Dodson Street reported 2 p.m April 8 an unknown person made purchases on a debit card totalling $242.04.
Criminal mischief
An employee at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest reported 12:42 p.m. April 8 returning to the vehicle to find the driver side window smashed. Nothing was removed from the vehicle.
Suspicious activity
A Salisbury resident reports receiving automated calls informing him he is being sued 6:45 p.m. April 19. Police informed the resident this is a scam and to not call the number back.
