Miller Blood Bank Blood Drive hosted by St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, 150 Elm St., Emmaus. The blood mobile will be in the parking lot by the parish hall 8 to 11 a.m. Those donating will receive a free breakfast at the church that morning. Call 610-967-1450 to register.

The March of Dimes will host the annual Lehigh Valley March for Babies walk and a 5K Run for Babies at Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom. Registration for the run starts 8 a.m. and the run starts 9 a.m. Registration for the walk starts 9:30 a.m. and the walk starts 10:30 a.m. The event will be held rain or shine. Highlights will include music performances, kids activities and crafts and a lunch for participants.

April 21

The Concerned East Penn Taxpayers Association will host its "State of the Lehigh County" event 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Emmaus. Lehigh County Commissioners Amanda Holt, Vic Mazziotti, Brad Osborne and Mike Schware be the featured presenters at the meeting at Fire Company #1 at the corner of Sixth and Broad streets, Emmaus. The meeting is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be available. The commissioners are expected to discuss upcoming capital projects and the 2016 budget proposal.

Friends of the Emmaus Library will host its annual book sale in the cafeteria of Lower Macungie Middle School, 6229 Lower Macungie Road, 7 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. The brown bag blow-out is 3 to 3:45 p.m. The Nutrition, Health & Safety Fair, organized by the Nutrition Group will offer free food samples, free blood pressure screenings, health information and demonstrations. The nutrition fair runs 9 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

GFWC-PA Woman's Club of Emmaus will meet 7 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Fifth and Chestnut streets, Emmaus. The program is "Come to meet the Alpacas" with Bill Graschin from Harley Hill Farms.
