"Blood Brothers" will be presented at 7 p.m. April 15 -18 and 2 p.m. April 19 in the Black Box Theatre, Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts, 675 E. Broad St., Bethlehem.

In the play's storyline, Mrs. Johnstone (Lynsey Jeffery) has twins on the way and Mrs. Lyons (Kara Snyder) agrees to adopt one of the babies.

Mickey (Albert Nelthropp) and Sammy Johnstone (Christopher Singer) become inseparable as blood brothers. Then, they fall in love with the same girl, Linda (Kelley Griffiths).

Ashley Tait-Weller is Director and Choreographer. Lynn Flickinger and Neil Chaban are Music Directors. Matt Wells is Conductor. Peter Wrenn-Meleck is Set Designer and Technical Director.

The music, lyrics and book are by Willy Russell. The play debuted in London in 1983 and on Broadway in 1993, receiving six Tony Award nominations, including best musical.
