To the Editor:

Thank you, Ms. Galbraith, for taking a stand for Christianity and our Lord Savior in your editor's view in the [March 26 edition of The Press] regarding the Lehigh County seal's inclusion of a cross.

Our country was founded on Christian beliefs. I believe our country has flourished, like no other, to great prosperity under the hand of God because of our government and society's belief in Him.

Our Lord had put a protective "fence" around the United States of America. I believe that protective fence has been diminishing over the years as our government and society turn away from God.

As Christians, God calls on us to be shepherds and we need to stand up in defense of our beliefs.
