CANCER SUPPORT COMMUNITY GREATER LEHIGH VALLEY, Allentown, is looking for volunteers for the 41st annual Boutique at the Rink, a sale of new and gently used clothing, household goods, antiques, collectibles, vintage clothes and accessories, toys and much more. KIDSPEACE, Orefield, needs volunteers for the KidsPeace 5K Family Fun Mud Run May 2. Volunteers are needed to work concession stands, direct traffic and parking, man water stations, cheer, motivate and help participants at obstacles and coordinate the bag drop area. LEHIGH VALLEY HEALTH NETWORK is in need of volunteers to serve guests in the gift shops at LVH-Cedar Crest and LVH-Muhlenberg. Volunteers must possess great customer service skills, compassion and be able to work a three or four hour shift. Evening and weekend shifts are most needed; however day shifts are accepted also. NORTHAMPTON COUNTY HISTORICAL & GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY, Easton is in need of volunteers to greet and assist visitors who are looking to pay admission and purchase items from the museum store. Experience on the cash register, credit card machine, answering the phone, and most of all, customer service relations are a plus. SENIOR CORPS RSVP OF LEHIGH, NORTHAMPTON & CARBON COUNTIES, Bethlehem – Grocery shop once or twice a month for elderly individuals or persons with disabilities. Many people can stay living safely in their own homes if they have a little extra assistance. Volunteers will receive an orientation and will need a background check as well as references.
