Access device fraud
Reported by a resident of the 3700 block of John Street, Upper Milford Township, an unknown actor used a fraudulent credit card to purchase various items at Giant, 3015 W. Emmaus Ave., 1:03 p.m. Jan. 28. The actor, described as a white male dressed in a dark knit hat, blue jeans and a white hooded sweatshirt with blue striping, left the area in a silver sedan. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Reported by a resident in the 5500 block of Princeton Road, Lower Macungie Township, suspicious purchases were found to be made using a credit card 4:58 p.m. Feb. 24. The investigation continues.
DUI
Joseph Robert Domyan, 18, of Wescosville, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after he allegedly was involved in a motor vehicle accident along Liberty Lane and Spruce Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:07 a.m. Feb. 21. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.
An unnamed Allentown male, 43, was arrested for driving under the influence after a traffic accident along Chestnut Street, just south of Indian Creek Road, Upper Milford Township, 6:55 p.m. Jan. 2. The Allentown man was taken to Lehigh County Central Booking Center for processing, according to police.
An unnamed Allentown male, 22, was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence after police found him passed out with his head on the steering wheel of a white pickup truck pulled to the shoulder of Willow Lane at Sauerkraut Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 2 a.m. March 2. According to police, the truck engine was running at the time. Charges are pending blood results.
Peter Hailey, 24, Greenville, was taken into custody after he allegedly struck a guardrail, disabling his pickup truck, while traveling along Limeport Pike, Lower Milford Township, around 7:42 a.m. Feb. 14. A search uncovered a small amount of marijuana on his person, according to police. Hailey was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest for medical treatment. Charges of driving under the influence and drug possession were filed in District Court 31-3-03.
Desmond Latra Hankerson, 38, of Allentown, is suspected by police of driving under the influence after a traffic stop for an alleged vehicle code violation in the parking lot of 14 E. Main St., Emmaus, 3:05 a.m. March 8.
A Zionsville man, 45, was arrested for driving under the influence after a traffic accident on Cedar Crest Boulevard at Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:50 p.m. March 7. The driver was taken to Lehigh County Central Booking Center for processing.
An unnamed Macungie man, 35, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he showed signs of intoxication when stopped for traffic violations on the Mill Creek spur at Willow Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 2:05 a.m. March 1. The man was transported to Lehigh County Prison where he was processed and released.
A 33-year-old Coopersburg woman is suspected of driving under the influence after a traffic accident at 5460 Limeport Road, Upper Milford Township, 11:53 p.m. Feb. 20.
Lawrence Junior Majette, 53, of Macungie, was taken into custody and charged with suspicion of driving under the influence after an alleged hit and run accident on State Route 100 at the entrance to Weis Markets, 3369 Route 100, Lower Macungie Township, 8:20 p.m. March 7. Charges were filed through District Court 31-2-03.
Drug possession
Korrine Kolodi, 19, of Breinigsville, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after her vehicle became disabled along Hamilton Boulevard and Lower Macungie Road, Trexlertown, 11:46 p.m. March 9. Police pushed Kolodi's to the side of the road and assisted in contacting a tow truck. Kolodi allegedly was found to be in possession of a controlled substance at the time of the incident. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-02.
Control of alarms
Troopers responded to Game Stop, 1042 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, for three false alarms within a consecutive 12-month period, resulting in charges of control of alarm devices and automatic dialing services filed against the business Feb. 25 in District Court 31-3-02 .
A citation was issued 6:31 a.m. Feb. 28 to Ciocca Subaru, 4611 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, after police responded to multiple false alarms within a 12-month period.
Retail theft
Margaret Toye Reznicek, 60, no address given, was cited for retail theft after she allegedly took a sweater from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, March 4. The sweater was valued at $14.97. Reznicek was transported to Central Booking for processing.
Luis Rios, 44, of Allentown, was charged with retail theft after allegedly taking multiple items valued at $857 from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:23 a.m. March 7. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-02.
Noah Noel Nieves, 42, of Macungie, was accused of retail theft after allegedly removing $17.92 of merchandise without paying from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:42 p.m. March 7.
Theft
Reported at Weis Market, 3369 Route 100, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors removed a wallet containing an iPhone, credit cards and about $300 from a shopping cart in a parking lot of the store between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. March 7. Simple assault
A Zionsville man, 40, was charged with simple assault and harassment after his argument with a 29-year-old woman escalated and he tackled the woman and struck her in the face with a closed fist mutiple times in the 7500 block of Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township. Charges were filed in Disrtict Court 31-3-03.
