Dog incident

Police were called to the 1700 block of Cardinal Drive 3:36 p.m. March 14 for a German Shepherd dog running loose. The dog catcher captured the dog and took it to the Humane Society.

Theft

A maroon Samsung Galaxy 4S cellphone was taken from the fourth floor of Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., 4:15 p.m. March 16. Police are currently reviewing video.

An unknown actor removed 16 batteries valued at $5,000 from the 1275 S. Cedar Crest Blvd. cell- phone tower 11:11 a.m. March 17.

A resident in the 1400 block of East Susquehanna Street reported 5:30 p.m. March 18, an unknown actor removed a BMX GT bike and a skateboard from the porch of the home sometime between 3:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

A customer at Victoria's Secret, 3300 Lehigh St., reported 6:30 p.m. March 21 she placed her iPhone 5 somewhere in the store and when she returned it was not there. Workers at the store said an unknown female found the phone, asked shoppers if the phone belonged to them and when she did not find the owner, took the phone.

A resident in the 1600 block of Rader Avenue reported 9:09 a.m. March 23 the theft of jewelry from the home valued at $3,000. The homeowner hired contractors for some work in the home and police are investigating.

A resident in the 3000 block of Linden Court reported 8:40 a.m. March 23 an unknown actor removed a file folder containing a passport, social security card and other information within the last 21 days. Police are questioning contractors who were working in the home.

A resident in the 1700 block of South Albert Street was given a summary citation for theft of services 10:37 a.m. March 23 for not paying for a cab ride to her home.
