Zellner honored for 30 years with NWL school district

Northwestern Lehigh Superintendent Dr. Mary Anne Wright said her administrative assistant, Nancy Zellner, showed her Tiger Pride in her years with the district.

As historian, she always had knowledge of the past that helped in the present giving her insight into some of today's questions, Wright explained.

Wright, during the board's recent meeting, presented her with a resolution crediting her for the many great things she did over the years, including showing trust, respect and affection for all stakeholders in the community, supporting students, seeing the potential in everyone and personifying the community while supporting staff.

Zellner said the decision to retire was one of the hardest things she ever had to do.

Board President Paul Fisher, on behalf of the board, wished Zellner well in whatever she does.

"We know you'll keep Northwestern forever in your heart," Fisher said. "We appreciate what you've done."
