Woman reports

altercation

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a 43-year-old Kutztown woman contacted them to report she and a 23-year-old Kutztown man were allegedly involved in a verbal and physical altercation 2:22 p.m. March 21 at 9694 Bachelor Road, Weisenberg Township.

According to police, the woman allegedly said the man grabbed and pushed her.

Ashley M. Snyder, 22, of Schnecksville, was driving a 2003 Jeep Liberty, eastbound on Kerns-ville Road, just west of Hickory Lane, 12:07 a.m. March 21 in Lowhill Township, when she apparently lost control of the vehicle, which slid off the roadway and struck a utility pole, State Police Troop M Fogelsville say.

Snyder, who police say was wearing her seat belt, was uninjured.

She was issued a traffic citation, police say.

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Debbie J. Schoch, 59, of Lehighton, was driving a 2002 Ford Ranger, north in the right lane of Route 309, north of Mountain Road, Lynn Township, 11:41 a.m. March 20, when the truck rotated clockwise and traveled off the right side of the roadway.

The truck struck a boulder on the right side of the road and came to a final rest at the point of impact, police say.

Schoch, who was wearing her seat belt, sustained a minor injury.

She was transported by Cetronia Ambulance Corps to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was charged with a traffic violation, police say.
