School district gets 'clean' audit report
The Northampton Area School District received a glowing 2013-14 audit report.
"From a financial reporting perspective, things couldn't be better for this school district and I commend you for that," said William Gorman of Gorman & Associations, PC, at the Feb. 9 board of education meeting.
"I always try to find things that are wrong. And I have a difficult time finding something wrong with this school district," Gorman said.
"It's about as clean a report as I can give you," Gorman added.
School board members voted 8-0, with one member absent, at the recommendation of the administration, to accept Gorman's audit.
