Heat and eat! Germansville Fire Company is selling its oh-so-tasty potato filling and hot bacon dressing just in time for the Easter holiday.

Place orders by March 30 by calling Elaine or Harold Hoppes at 610-767-4400.

Orders, sold by the pound, serve approximately two people.

Bring containers from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. April 4 to the upstairs kitchen of the fire station.

With the fire company in mind, don't forget the facilities are available to rent and may be reserved by calling Doris Koenig at 610-767-3778.

Also the Germansville Fire Company is selling Thomson's Hoagies every month to benefit the 100th anniversary celebration July 11.

Hip hop hooray! Heidelberg Union Church is having a huge Easter egg hunt April 4.

This once-a-year event will be held rain or shine.

Children through sixth grade and the "young at heart" are welcome to come.

Register at 9:30 a.m. Then, bring your basket and meet in fellowship hall at 10 a.m.

Get your photo taken with the Easter Bunny for a small donation to the Heidelberg Heights Community Playground Fund.

Photos will be available to take home right away.

In addition to a bake sale, there will be lots of fun, prizes and refreshments for all to enjoy.

A light breakfast will be available immediately following the service.

Mark your calendar! Heidelberg Association for Retired Persons, better known as H.A.R.P. will meet 12:30 p.m. April 7 at Heidelberg Church to go on a spring fling.

Bring a friend along and take a quick road trip to the Lehigh Career and Technical Institute, Schnecksville.

After a little lunch, this outgoing group of retirees, will tour the school.
