On Presidents Day, the Lehigh County Farm Bureau along with farm bureaus from neighboring counties traveled to Freddie Hill Farm in Lansdale to celebrate "Farmers Care," formerly Food Check Out Day, with the Ronald McDonald House of Philadelphia.
Lehigh, Bucks and Montgomery counties collected $16,100 in food and money to help stock the pantry at the House.
This was the 17th year the farm bureau has supported the House, which provides a home away from home for families with children receiving medical care at Philadelphia hospitals.
