March 19

Emmaus Historical Society meets 7 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church parish hall. The program is "Toys From the Past" presented by Bob Swaim, who tells the history of the Slinky, and his efforts to make the Slinky the Pennsylvania state toy. For more information, call 610-966-6591.

March 20

Lenten Seafood Dinner 5 to 7 p.m. at the St. Ann's School cafeteria, 435 S. 6th St, Emmaus. There is a charge. Takeout will be available. The dinner is hosted by Knights of Columbus #12886.

March 21

State Rep. Justin Simmons, R-131st, will host an open house 11 a.m. to 2 pm. at the Coopersburg office, Village Center, 21 N. Main St., Unit 9, Coopersburg.

March 22

Basket bingo at Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 535 W. Emaus Ave. Doors open noon; games begin 1 p.m. The kitchen will be open and tickets can be obtained by calling Linda at 610-797-4393. All proceeds benefit the youth group trip to the Detroit National Youth Convention.

March 23

GFWC PA Women's Club of Emmaus monthly meeting 7 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Fifth and Chestnut streets, Emmaus. The program will be "Keeping Emmaus Beautiful" by the Emmaus Garden Club.

March 24

Enriching the Family Series, "Raising Healthy Eaters" 7 to 8 p.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church, 2623 Brookside Road, Macungie. This program will help parents learn easy, creative ways to raise healthy eaters. Topics will be presented by Aneita Sutton from The Nutrition Group and the East Penn School District. Miller-Keystone Blood Center personnel will be at the Lower Macungie Township Community Center, 3450 Brookside Road, Macungie 4 to 7 p.m. for a blood drive. There are still open spots; stop at the community center to schedule a time slot or call 610-966-6924.

March 26

Upper Milford Historical Society meeting 7 p.m. in the Upper Milford municipal building, Old Zionsville. Candace Perry, curator at Schwenkfelder Library and Heritage Center will discuss PA German Fraktur. All are welcome and refreshments will be provided. For more information, call 610-966-4376.

All you can eat spaghetti dinner at Lower Milford Township Fire Company, 1601 Limeport Pike, Coopersburg, 4:30 to 7 p.m. or until sold out.

March 28

Wescosville Wishes craft/ vendor fair and raffle for Autism Speaks, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Event includes over 40 vendors and crafters and over 75 raffle prizes donated by area businesses. The event will be held at Wescosville Elementary School, 1064 Liberty Lane, Wescosville.

March 29

Basket Bingo at Citizens' Fire Co. No. 2 , 1017 Pennsylvania Ave, Emmaus. Doors open 1 p.m.; bingo begins 2 p.m. Kitchen will be open to purchase food. Call 610-965-2097 for tickets.

Horizon Church, 2613 W. South Street, Allentown hosts its annual egg drop rain or shine. Festivities begin 11:30 a.m. and include a fire truck egg drop for ages preschool through fifth grade, fire truck tours, raffle, prizes, food and a magician. The public is invited to this free event. Quarterly meeting of the Hivel Und Dahl Preservation Society 7:30 p.m. in the Upper Milford Township Buidling Township Building, 5671 Chestnut St., Zionsville.
