The HOPE Presentation is tonight. Join other parents and concerned community members to learn more about the heroin and opiate epidemic. The informative presentation starts at 6:30 p.m in the Whitehall High School's LGI Room. The middle school's annual canned food drive runs March 16-20. This has been a successful event. It is also a friendly competition between homerooms. The winning homeroom will be rewarded. The drive benefits Whitehall Food Pantry and Second Harvest of the Valley. Canned and nonperishable items will be collected daily.

The Zephyr Key Club's pennies for pasta fundraiser for leukemia and lymphoma society was a huge success. The building, students and staff raised a grand total of $4,104.39. The winner of the pasta for pennies classroom competition was Mrs. Amy Dorward's class with a total of $387.92. They will be receiving a pasta party from Olive Garden. The kids in the club made thank you cards and certificates for each classroom teacher to share with their students. Way to go, Zephyrs.

Whitehall Boys Basketball Team presents a night at the races March 28. It will be held at the American Club in Coplay. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The races begin at 7 p.m. The fundraiser will benefit the Whitehall Boys Basketball Team. Participants will have the opportunity to buy a horse and name it for the races. Whitehall High School Theatre proudly presents "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying!"
Reserve your seats today by mailing a self-addressed stamped envelope to Whitehall High School Theatre, 3800 Mechanicsville Road, Whitehall, PA 18052. Show dates are April 9-11 at 7:30 p.m. and April 12 at 2 p.m.
The price of adult seats, $12. Seniors and students are $8. There is also a dinner theater option available April 11 at 6 p.m. Price includes catered dinner and prime seating for the show. Adults are $29. Senior and students are $25.
