Suspicious activity
Residents reported an individual drove up to the bus stop at Camp and Berger streets 3:21 p.m. Feb. 27 and gave the students lollipops. Police are investigating.
Police were alerted to a male getting in and out of a vehicle with a light in his hand 2:35 a.m. Feb. 28 in the parking lot of Sheffield Square Apartments, 1709 S. Albert St.
Drug
A caller to the station reported 4 p.m. Feb. 27 three young males were smoking marijuana in the parking lot of Sheffield Square Apartments, 1709 S. Albert St. The three males were not in the area when police arrived.
Disturbance
A 28-year-old woman was asked to leave the Hackerman-Patz House, 1260 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., 3:04 p.m. Feb. 28 following a disturbance.
A resident in the 1600 block of East Emmaus Avenue reported 2:37 a.m. Feb. 28 he was being threatened.
Theft from vehicle
A resident in the 1600 block of East Emmaus Avenue reported his car was ransacked 5:46 p.m. Feb. 28 by an unknown actor. A $300 vest and checkbook were missing.
Animal case
A caller reported a small dog running along Emmaus Avenue near South Albert Street 5:46 p.m. Feb. 28. The dog was captured by police and taken to Valley Central for an evaluation with a suspected broken left rear leg or hip.
Code enforcement
Police were called to a home in the 900 block of East Montgomery Street 10:21 a.m. March 2 for the report of water coming from the ceiling and out of electrical receptacles. Police turned off the water which was also found to be going through the breaker box and the resident was advised to call an electrician and a plumber.
Identity theft
A resident in the 800 block of 25th Street reported 2 p.m. March 2 the discovery of unauthorized purchases valued at $426 on their Bon-Ton charge.
Fraud
A business owner in the 1100 block of Brook Avenue reported receiving a fraudulent credit card for purchases valued at $325.77.
Retail theft
Two suspects, one black male and one white female with New York license plates, removed two packs of cigarettes from the Shell Quick Stop, 1132 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., 9:57 p.m. March 3 without paying for the items.
Road rage
A driver reported a road rage incident in the 500 block of East Emmaus Avenue 9:57 p.m. March 3. The driver reported being cut off by a driver of an older grey Chrysler who then flashed a handgun.
Theft
A resident in the 1700 block of Ritter Street reported 9:07 a.m. March 3 she met a man online who said he would find her a car. She gave him $3,500 and he has not returned her calls. Police are investigating.
Driving under the influence
Luke Hoffman, 23, of Allentown, was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence following a motor vehicle crash in the 2300 block of West Rock Road. Hoffman allegedly crashed his vehicle 6:56 p.m. March 3 which came to rest in a yard, losing control due to snow. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.
Scam
A resident in the 2300 block of Honeysuckle Road reported 8:37 a.m. March 4 receiving a call from the Internal Revenue Service saying she owed money. Police are investigating.
Harassment by communication
A fired employee from Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest was told to stop communicating with management 4:35 p.m. March 5.
Reckless driver
Callers reported two ATVs driving recklessly 7:03 p.m. March 5 in the 1500 block of East Emmaus Avenue. The drivers could not be located.
Natural gas leak
Police were investigating the report of a natural gas leak along Maumee Avenue 5:14 a.m. March 6.
