Fundraisers to benefit 'Bye Bye Birdie' scheduled March 13, 14

The Drama Club at Central Catholic High School will host a Karaoke night March 13. Doors open 5:30 p.m. There is a cost because the event is a fundraiser for this year's spring musical "Bye Bye Birdie." All students are welcome to participate.

Another fundraiser for the show will be held March 14. An arts and crafts show will be held 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Masson Auditorium. Proceeds benefit the production of the musical scheduled April 9, 10 and 11.

Any support for the show is greatly appreciated.

Central Catholic will host a Red Cross Blood Drive March 11.

This event is a chance for students to donate blood and give to those in need. The drive has been organized by the school's Red Cross Club, headed by senior Megan Osborne. This is an annual event Central Catholic is proud to host.

Students are always happy to help give back to the community.

Any student at least 17 years old can register to donate blood. Students report to Masson Auditorium during school, where they are screened, then blood is taken by trained volunteers from the Red Cross.
