Asbury United Methodist Church, 1533 Springhouse Road, South Whitehall Township, will hold its seventh annual chili cookoff 5 to 8 p.m. March 14.

More than 40 chefs will compete for chili and salsa awards.

Professional chefs will also compete.

Youth teams from local schools, churches and organizations will compete for the new Youth Team Award.

There will be face painting, family photos, balloon art by Brian Best as well as chili-wear aprons, oven mitts, caps, towels and laser engraved spoons for sale.

Chili Mountain is back to award those who take the challenge to taste all the chili.

With a free-will donation at the door, each family member will receive 10 tickets to vote for People's Choice chili and salsa awards.

Additional tickets will be available for purchase during the event in the Wesley Center and Fellowship Hall.

Proceeds will benefit Ramos Elementary School.
