Schools will be open Thursday, April 2, for a snow makeup day.

This day was originally scheduled as a vacation day for spring break.

An oldies dance to benefit the Northampton Area Konkrete Kids Educational Foundation will be held at the Northampton Community Center April 11.

The cost includes live music from Desire, an oldies doo wop group, and buffet and beverages.

You must be 21 to attend.

George Wolf PTA Book Bingo will be held 6-7:30 p.m. tonight, Thursday, March 5, at the school.

Next week the elementary schools will have spring pictures taken. Purchasing photos is optional.

Moore Elementary School pictures will be taken Monday, March 9.

The Borough Franklin Building will have pictures taken Wednesday, March 11.

George Wolf Elementary School pictures will be taken Thursday, March 12.

PTA groups will meet this month.

The high school PTA will meet Tuesday, March 10 at 6 p.m.

The middle school group will meet 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 11.

Northampton Area High School's School Store, the Konkrete Korner, is now online.

The web site allows the community to access the store's latest merchandise without having to visit the store during its hours of operation.

The website, which now includes online purchasing capability, can be accessed at http://konkretekorner.weebly.com.
