Lehigh Valley Zoo will host a free FrogWatch USA training session from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on March 7.

Participants, ages 12 and older, will learn how to identify local frog and toad species, collect data and record it online.

The Association of Zoos and Aquariums will use this data to study population declines across the country.

Morgenland Union Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, will be collecting old eyeglasses to be recycled by the Lions Club. Spectacles can be brought to the church throughout the month of March.

"Twelve Women of the Bible" mid-week Lenten Study will continue Wednesdays March 11, 18 and 25.

Fellowship and a soup supper starts 6:30 p.m., followed by worship and study at 7:30 p.m.

Christ's Church at Lowhill Food Pantry, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, will be accepting donations to stock shelves 9-11 a.m. March 17. Donations may also be made by appointment by calling 610-298-2054 or by calling Nancy Holbrook at 610-674-2440.

The pantry needs: peanut butter, jelly, cereal, hearty soups, chili, canned pasta, toilet paper, paper towels, paper napkins, kitchen and bathroom cleaners, and pet food.

New socks in adult sizes may be dropped off at both New Tripoli Banks and ESSA Bank for the Blessing Shop's collection of new and nearly new clothing in the pantry basement.

Families who qualify for items in the pantry are also welcomed to select from the new and gently used clothing, toys and household items donated in the shop.
