Lehigh Valley Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest of the driver who struck Jennifer E. Dietrich of Coplay just before 9 p.m. Jan. 20, as she walked across the street in front of McDonalds, 5060 Route 873, North Whitehall.
State Police Troop M Bethlehem say the vehicle, described as a 1998-2000 blue Ford Ranger with the name "Ehrlich" in white lettering on the driver's side door and orange and yellow horizontal stripes along the sides, left the scene, traveling northbound on Route 873.
The truck is believed to have a cap on the bed or truck bed storage cabinets.
The vehicle sustained damage to the front passenger bumper and headlight area.
Police are looking for information regarding anyone who recently started driving a new work vehicle and/or stopped driving a vehicle of this description and may have recently called out sick or missed days of work immediately after this crash.
Dietrich remains in critical condition.
