VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF THE LEHIGH VALLEY, is in need of outgoing, friendly individuals, age 15 and over, to assist on the sales floor and donation center at the ReStore. Volunteers are needed between 10 a.m and 2 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Ideally, the volunteer will commit to a time once per week, if possible. Register online at www. habitatlvrestore.org and attend a one hour training session before starting. The next training is Feb. 20.

MARY'S SHELTER CAY GALGON CENTER, Bethlehem is looking for volunteers, age 16 and over, to babysit while mothers go back to school/work until their day care has been approved or the babies are over six weeks old. SPECIAL OLYMPICS, Bethlehem is seeking experienced gymnastics volunteers for one hour Thursday evenings. Special Olympics is a year-round program holding sport competitions and trainings throughout the year. Everyone is a volunteer and there is never a charge for athletes to participate. TEACH RWANDA, Easton is seeking board members who have an interest or background in nonprofit tax preparation, fundraising, marketing, finances or law. The organization educates Rwandan teachers using international best practices and supplies learning materials for classrooms in Rwanda.
