Daniel C. Confalone has been appointed Chief Financial Officer for Sacred HealthCare System.

He will oversee the financial operations of Sacred Heart Hospital and the HealthCare System.

Confalone has more than 30 years' experience as a healthcare financial executive in acute-care hospitals, teaching hospitals, and post-acute care.

Prior to his employment with Sacred Heart Hospital, he was Senior Vice President Finance-CFO, St. Mary Healthcare, Langhorne; Senior Vice President Finance-CFO, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network, Allentown, and Vice President Finance-CFO, St. Joseph's Regional Health Network, Reading-Lancaster.

Confalone received a BS in Business Administration-Accounting from Bloomsburg University and an MBA in Finance from Wilkes University.

Confalone lives with his wife, Sherri, and their three children in Allentown.
