Ning Cao, M.D., a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician, has joined the Good Shepherd Physician Group as Medical Director, Stroke Program.

At Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network, Dr. Cao will oversee inpatient and outpatient stroke program operations.

Cao previously was Stroke Medical Director at the Johns Hopkins Good Samaritan Hospital.

She received a medical degree from Hebei Medical University, China; completed her internship at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, Tenn., and her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Albert Einstein Montefiore Medical Center, The Bronx, New York.
