Tired of being bundled up like a teddy bear? Are you wishing that white fluff had green sprouts? Cheer up. According to the calendar, spring is only 24 days away. We just have to hope Mother Nature's calendar is on the same schedule as ours.
The Ancient Oak Women's Organization meeting will be held at St. Paul's Church, Trexlertown Road, Trexlertown, 6:30 p.m. March 4. There will be a covered dish dinner before the meeting. Members are asked to bring bags of wrapped no-peanut candy for the Easter egg hunt.
The hunt will be held 2 p.m. March 28 at Church Lane Park. The rain date is March 29 same time and place.
Ancient Oak members will be given slips for the March hoagie sale at the meeting.

The Lower Macungie Senior Citizens meet noon the first and third Tuesday at the community center on Brookside Road, weather permitting. Games and bingo are played after a short business meeting.
On March 8 Daylight Savings time begins; don't forget to set your clock ahead.
The annual Boy Scout Troop 86 Alburtis hunting and fishing flea market will be held at the community center, Second and Walnut streets, Alburtis, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 1. There is an admission charge. Those under age 12 are free. Breakfast and lunch will be available. Proceeds benefit the Boy Scout Troop. For information, call Ralph H. Gambler at 610-966-2195.
