Salisbury police

Assault

A 15-year-old male Salisbury High School student reported he was assaulted by another 15-year-old male Salisbury High School student on the Lehigh Carbon Technical Institute bus 8 a.m. Feb. 6. The victim did not need medical attention. The other student has been referred to the Juvenile Criminal Justice Panel.

Attempted burglary

A resident in the 1100 block of East Susquehanna Street reported 6:21 p.m. Feb. 8 an unknown actor damaged the front door of an apartment.

Retail theft

Two men entered Bon-Ton, 3300 Lehigh St., Allentown, 4:48 p.m. Feb. 9 and removed Ralph Lauren and Polo clothing and walked out of the store. Loss prevention personnel attempted to stop the individuals; however, they drove away in a white BMW. Police have the license plate number of the vehicle and continue to investigate.

Criminal trespass

A resident in the 3200 block of Douglas Road reported 11:45 a.m. Feb. 9, a neighbor has been trespassing on the property and hanging bait in the trees to attract deer.

Theft

Justin Bult, 27, of Coplay, was charged with theft and receiving stolen property 12:30 p.m. Feb. 10 after allegedly removing a diamond ring from a home in the 2900 block of Greenbriar Lane. Bult allegedly was doing work in the home. He returned the ring valued at $10,000 and was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Suspicious activity

A resident in the 1700 block of East Susquehanna Street reported 5:56 pm. Feb. 12 she received a call informing her she won $1 million in the lottery. The caller asked if she lived alone and still lived in the house the caller described. Salisbury Police Department advises residents to report such calls to the police and not provide any information to the callers.
