Lehigh Valley Beekeepers Association meeting 7 p.m. at the Lehigh County Ag Center, 4184 Dorney Park Road, Allentown. Professor of Biology at Kutztown University, Dr. Robyn Underwood, will review her work on "green beekeeping" at The Rodale Institute. Underwood's classroom/community work also focuses on aiding beekeepers in managing honey bee pests and diseases as well as documenting winter losses across the country. Join the Lower Macungie Library for "Cherries, Chocolate and Jazz" 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., an evening of food and jazz. Appetizers, desserts and beverages are provided with music by the Kutztown University Jazz Quartet. There is a charge. The Young Musicians of the Allentown Music Club will host a recital 4 p.m. at Jacob's Music Store, 2223 MacArthur Road, Whitehall. New members are welcome. The event is open to students six to 18 who are currently studying with a private teacher and wish to showcase their talents on a musical instrument and/or voice.
