Students and personnel at Lehigh Career and Technical Institute, 4500 Education Park Drive, Schnecksville, were evacuated as a safety precaution just after 2 p.m. on Feb. 6 after a suspicious object was found on campus.

State Police Troop M Bethlehem say the area where the item was located was contained and secured.

The object was determined to be safe and was removed from the scene.

Police say a juvenile is responsible for leaving the object at the campus.

This incident remains under investigation.
