Boy Scouts gathered to practice their winter skills outdoors in the annual Klondike Derby Jan. 31 in Franko Farm Park, Salisbury Township. Skill stations were named for National Football League teams and featured such challenges as an ice rescue, roping and learning techniques to help someone who is choking. Participating Scouts represented Boy Scout Troops from Alburtis, Old Zionsville, Emmaus, Salisbury and Allentown.
