Suspicious device

Salisbury Police were called to assist the Allentown Police Department at Lehigh Parkway, Allentown, 9:13 a.m. Feb. 1 after a suspicious device was found, cancelling the Lehigh Valley Road Runners' Super Bowl 10K. The device was determined to be nonexplosive and not dangerous.

Aggravated assault

A 14-year-old male was arrested for aggravated assault and harassment following an incident 8:27 a.m. Feb. 1 at Northwestern Human Services, 660 E. Emmaus Ave. The male allegedly stabbed a female staff member in the hand with a kitchen fork. He was transported to the juvenille detention center.

Parris Hall, 51, of Salisbury, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of simple assault, two counts of harassment and one count of terroristic threats following an incident in the 700 block of Mortimer Street, Bethlehem, 7:01 p.m. Feb. 3. Hall allegedly was involved in an argument with the victim at the home and allegedly stabbed him twice in the back and once in the chest. She was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Theft

A homeowner discovered the removal of 10 DVDs from the home in the 1500 block of Maumee Avenue 7:56 p.m. Feb. 3. Further investigation points to a miscommunication by the mortgage company who sent a winterizing company into the home without the homeowner's consent. Police are investigating.

Christopher Odenwelder, 29, of Salisbury, was charged with theft and receiving stolen property after allegedly removing scaffolding from a home on Maumee Avenue belonging to Don Wieand Construction, 11:30 a.m. Feb. 2. Odenwelder allegedly removed the scaffolding and scrapped it at Liberty Recycling for $200.

DUI

Peter Nester, 35, of Allentown, was stopped in his vehicle in the 1200 block of East Susquehanna Street, 1:35 a.m. Feb. 4 for a traffic stop. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Drug

Paige Kearney, 27, of Salisbury, was found unresponsive in her vehicle 10:54 p.m. Feb. 5 in the 2300 block of South Dauphin Street. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension and driving without a driver's license. She was transported to St. Luke's University Health Network for evaluation.
