Rocky Gencarelli of Bethlehem has joined Miers Insurance as their Group Employee Benefits Manager.

He will be responsible for managing the sales and service of the agency's employee benefit and individual life and health insurance products as well as developing new business opportunities.

Gencarelli has had nearly 15 years of sales and sales management experience with nearly 10 years in employee benefit program design and consultation.

He is a graduate of Freedom High School and The Pennsylvania State University SMEAL College of Business.

Gencarelli is on the Healthcare Legislative Committee of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and is secretary of the Northeast Lehigh Valley Association of Health Underwriters.

Miers Insurance, 2222 S. 12th St., Allentown, was established in 1892 and for 123 years has provided insurance brokerage, risk management, and employee benefit programs and services for businesses, families and institutions throughout the Lehigh Valley and Eastern Pennsylvania.
