To the Editor:
The sand, salt mix was dumped in a make shift bunker up hill from a storm drain 10 to 20 feet. The bunker is covered with a tarp.
When it rains or the snow melts the water seeps through the sand pile causing a chocolate mix to sit in small puddles and going to the storm drain which in turn shows up 100 to 200 feet from the Little Lehigh on Wild Cherry Lane. (Little Lehigh is a supply of our drinking water.)
As an emergency volunteer one of our jobs at a motor vehicle accident is to put cloth dikes at drains and speedy dry to soak up the oil and antifreeze. The professionals here know better than me.
So what do you think?
