Masters of the dance: The Muhlenberg College dance program showcases world premiere works by eight accomplished choreographers in its annual "Master Choreographers" concert, 8 p.m. Feb. 5, 6 and 2 and 8 p.m. Feb. 7, Empie Theatre, Baker Center for the Arts, Muhlenberg College, 2400 Chew St., Allentown. Karen Dearborn, concert artistic director, is one of the featured choreographers. The concert will feature "Prayers," choreographed by guest artist Jessica Lang. The concert showcases a diverse selection of styles and genres, ranging from classical ballet to contemporary jazz, modern dance, and tap accompanied by live jazz music. Above is Courtney Hunsberger. In addition to Lang and Dearborn, the concert features works by Danish choreographer Charlotte Boye-Christensen; Corrie Franz Cowart, co-artistic director of Co-Art Dance; Heidi Cruz-Austin, alumna of the Pennsylvania Ballet; Dorrell Martin, founder of Leon Dance Arts NY; Shelley Oliver, director of Shelley Oliver Tap Dancers; and Jeffrey Peterson, former dancer with Danny Buraczeski's Jazzdance. Stayin' The Bee Gees: "The Australian Bee Gees Show," above, is a retrospective of the 40-year history of the hit-making Brothers Gibb. The multi-media recreation of one of the most successful Las Vegas resident shows makes its Lehigh Valley debut, 7:30 p.m. Feb. 6, State Theatre Center for the Arts, Easton. The hits are all expected to be here, from the 1960's "Massachusettes," "New York Mining Disaster 1941" and "To Love Somebody," to the 1970's when the group got back together for "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart," "Jive Talkin'," "Nights On Broadway," "You Should Be Dancing," "Love So Right" and "Boogie Child," to "Saturday Night Fever" soundtrack's "How Deep Is Your Love," "Stayin' Alive," "Night Fever," "If I Can't Have You" and "More Than A Woman."
